Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Wingate AG LLC, operating Printemps Language Group, handles personal information received through enquiries, quotations, client and vendor relationships, and translation projects. It does not claim that every project is subject to the same privacy law; applicable rights depend on the people, services, and jurisdictions involved.

Controller and contact

Wingate AG LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Privacy enquiries may be sent to contact@wingate-ag.com or contact@printempslanguage.com.

Information we handle and why

  • Contact, organisation, billing, and project-scoping information needed to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, enter and perform engagements, deliver work, and maintain business records.
  • Source documents and translations that may contain medical, legal, identity, employment, family, financial, or other sensitive information where necessary to perform the requested service.
  • Technical request information processed by hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the website.

Legal grounds where GDPR or UK GDPR applies

Depending on the context, processing may be necessary to take steps requested before a contract, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or handle information with consent or another lawful condition applicable to sensitive data. We do not use consent where another legal ground is more appropriate.

Sharing, access, and international processing

Information is shared only as reasonably necessary with assigned translators or reviewers, technology and hosting providers, professional advisers, payment or accounting providers, authorities where legally required, or a client-authorised platform. Providers and personnel may be located in different countries. Where transfer restrictions apply, we use an available lawful transfer mechanism and proportionate safeguards for the project.

Sensitive files and security

Do not attach sensitive files to an initial enquiry. We first confirm scope and an appropriate transfer method. Access should be limited to assigned project personnel, and client files must not be placed in uncontrolled public AI, OCR, machine-translation, storage, conversion, or other tools.

Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for quotation and follow-up, project delivery, an agreed correction period or archive, dispute or evidence needs, and legal, tax, accounting, or contractual obligations. The period therefore depends on the record type, client instructions, project risk, and applicable law. Deletion requests are assessed against records that must lawfully be retained.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; or complain to a competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
